Shortly thereafter, he began a three-decade long career in the toy industry during which he achieved great successes and mentored many.

Loren rose through the ranks of Mattel Toys to the role of Executive Vice President. Following 24 years at Mattel, Loren entered into a partnership with Bandai to launch Toy Soldiers and from there went on to Galoob, where he served in an executive leadership role, assisting in the launch of the Star Wars brand.  Loren was known as a polished executive, strategic thinker and a leader who was greatly admired and respected.
